Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in the world of television. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay for long in Texas before relocating to Orlando, Florida. She was in Orlando for a range of roles including local independent films and global commercials. Even the small roles did not stop her from discovering she loved acting. After 2001, she relocated from the Midwest to New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of the decade she was seen in tiny roles on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her first series part on The Mountain The Mountain, a short-lived television drama. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some amazing TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. The most memorable part of her career was on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Her character was later seen on the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her character, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She won the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. In the role of Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. After only two episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are an Italian father and an older sister Cory whom is 10 years younger than her. Her family was a very traditional and religious one. Milano began her acting career at the age of seven old. The babysitter took her for an audition for her very first time. Milano was among four girls chosen from thousands of hopefuls. Milano performed in television advertisements as well as off Broadway shows, including the very first American musical version of Jane Eyre.
