Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She was best known as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting during her time at Preparatory School. In the late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons performing in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. In 1992, Anna got her first major role as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's, she was chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood, which was filmed during the middle 2000's. Skyler is the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn has also appeared on the stage in a David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal story as well as the stress on his relationship with Skyler are mirrored in the series.
